The Parkzone T-28 3536 series motor mount is CNC machined from billet aluminum.  A key feature to this mount is that it utilizes the stock plastic mount as a buffer zone in the event of a crash. The very inexpensive and easily replaceable stock plastic mount should take the impact instead of damaging the planes fuselage. Simply bolt on and you are ready to fly.

Three step installation:

  1. Attach new motor to aluminum mount with the motors supplied screws
  2. Attach Parkzone stock plastic mount using the original motor screws
  3. Attach entire assembly to the planes fuselage with the original mounting screws

Notes:

For proper cowl to propeller clearance on the 3536 motors that utilize the bolt on propeller shaft you will use the supplied prop spacer plus the flat washer that comes with the new motor as shown in the pictures. If using a standard 4mm motor shaft, or pressing the shaft forward on the motors utilizing a bolt on shaft, the stock collet adapter and nut will work great.  If using the bolt on propeller shaft style motor you will need to either press the motor shaft forward and use a collet adapter, or slightly enlarge the cowl opening to clear the bolt-on propeller shaft.

There is a large selection of motors to choose from.  Here are a few options.

Acceptable bolt patterns (units in mm):

  • 19x19
  • 19x25

Propeller Compatibility:

  • Stock 2  blade T28 / Corsair 9.5x7.5 (must use stock collet adapter)
  • Stock 3 blade T28 / Corsair 9x7.5 (must use stock collet adapter)
  • Stock 2 blade P51 9x6
  • MAS 10x7x3
  • There are quite a few other options depending on the performance desired
