Our 'X' Aluminum Motor Mount with 5mm shaft is CNC machined from billet aluminum. These mounts are very strong and light weight. They are designed to fit models that utilize a 5mm hole in the firewall for mounting motors. This would include models that run brushless motors with an integrated 5mm shaft.
With this mount, you can run a large variety of the popular 1306 and 1806 sized brushless motors.
There is a 2mm threaded mounting hole that it used to secure the mount in place.
Motor mounting slots are for 2mm screws.
Installation:
- Attach new motor to aluminum 'X' mount with supplied M2 x 4mm screws.
- Attach mount to firewall on model using M2 x 10mm screw
Included: 1 - 'X' Motor Mount with 5mm shaft for 1306 / 1806, 4 - M2 x 4mm screws, 1 - M2 x 10mm screw

Notes: Verify that motor mounting screws do not interfere with internal windings of motor.
When upgrading motor on your Hitec Zipper, make sure motor is compatible with existing electronics.
Center of Gravity should always be checked and adjusted per the user manual after installation of a new motor.
