Our 12x16 'X' Aluminum Motor Mount is CNC machined from billet aluminum. These mounts are very strong and light weight. They are designed to be a univeral motor mount for a variety of different models and motors.
Some of the compatible motors include the popular 1306, 1510, and 1806 sized brushless motors.
Motor mounting slots are for 2mm screws. See dimension drawing for details on motor mount and acceptable motor spacing.
Installation:
- Attach new motor to aluminum 'X' mount with supplied M2 x 5mm flat head screws.
- Attach mount to firewall on model using appropriate customer supplied screws.
Included: 1 - 12x16 'X' Motor Mount, 4 - M2 x 5mm screws (for mounting motor)
Weight: 2.8g (motor mount only)
Notes: Verify that motor mounting screws do not interfere with internal windings of motor.
Center of Gravity should always be checked and adjusted per the user manual after installation of a new motor.
